Jump to section
This Licensing Policy ("Policy") defines specific licensing rules and conditions for iceDQ Product. The use of the Product is subject to the Licensee's compliance with the End User License Agreement ("EULA") of which this Policy is a part.
Definition
- An instance is a base metal server, virtual machine, or a container on which iceDQ software is deployed, within limits granted to Licensee.
- A named user is a user to whom the License is assigned exclusively, and only the named user can access the iceDQ software at any given time.

- b. For Big Data Engine, the instance size translates to the number of nodes in a cluster (Master + Worker).
- Add-on License is a License for a specific feature that is not available as part of the default package. Each Add-on license is assigned to an existing instance of iceDQ.
- Credits are used to complete a short-term premium support request. The credits are non-expiring, and customers can purchase them in advance.
